DIVISIONS

GORILLA DIVISION

For athletes who are considered Intermediate to ADVANCED.
-Perform movements efficiently 80% of the time. For example: they are oble to receive the barbell in a squat position in the snatch (regardless of depth) with locked out elbows.
-Who have been training for more than TWO years. And train consistently.
They know and are able to apply the fundamental skills 80% of the time.
-Have experience competing.

*NOT FOR PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES. Who can perform movement efficiently 99% of the time.

CHIMP DIVISION

For athletes who are considered Beginner to INTERMEDIATE.
– Perform 60% of the movements scaled/ modified. For example: they cannot efficiently perform a snatch, they do a muscle or power snatch instead.
-Who have been training for TWO year or less. Or who train inconsistently. And are still learning the fundamental skills.
-Have minimal competition experience.

CUB DIVISION

For athletes who are considered BEGINNERS.
With limited experience and skill.
-Are in the beginning process of learning the fundamental skills.
-Perform the majority movements scaled/ modified.
-Who have been training for LESS than a year.
-Have no competition experience.

PRIZES

WINNERS from each Division will receive and APE GAMES shirt and split 100% OF ALL PROCEEDS.

*International competitors will receive the cash minus transaction & exchange fees.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

Prior to starting the workout, clearly show the weight of the medicine ball, height of the box, assault bike set at zero and measure the height of the target.

-SIDE PROFILE view required.
-A clock or timer must be visible throughout the workout.
-Upon ending the WOD Video must show end time on the clock CLEARLY as well as required Calories on the bike.
-Videos must be uploaded to YouTube and set to publicly viewable.
-Must be uncut and unedited.
-All exercises must be clearly visible, demonstrating the athlete meeting movement standards.

RULES

-Any athlete who in any way alters the equipment or movements may be disqualified from the competition.
-No assistance allowed. No other athlete, person or coach may assist competitor in any way during the workout.

SINGLE SUBMISSIONS PER ATHLETE

Multiple submission allowed ONLY in the case that the athlete was penalized with no reps.
ABSOLUTELY NO SUBMISSIONS OF ANY KIND AFTER DEADLINE.

PENALTIES

No reps are penalized with 2 seconds added to the time per rep.
